About me
I am a trilingual Architectural Designer at Populous and Architectural Computation MSc Student at the Bartlett, with a first class MArch from the Welsh School of Architecure. I have just finished chairing the WSA 2021 Show and during my studies am preparing my research on machine learning in architecture for publication and working on INVOLVED Magazine.
I am passionate about digital design and responsive architecture; using computational and parametric tools as well as scripting and artificial intelligence to investigate and create architecture that addresses social and environmental issues. Having experience in urban design, landscape, hospitality and industrial architecture, as well as having reasearched artificial creativity and reinforcement learning, I apply this to designing computational forms and systems.
I was born in London and have lived in the UK and Spain attending German and International Schools. I completed my BSc at the WSA in 2019, acchieving a 2:1, before working at Ridge and Partners for 10 months full-time as part of MArch I. I then worked for 6 months part-time during the second year of my masters.
I worked on numerous projects during my time at Ridge, gaining experience in RIBA stages 0-7, these projects include:
-
First Battery Gigaplant in the UK for British Volt with Pininfarina | stages 0-1 including masterplanning and site analysis.
-
Logistics Operations Center for Jaguar Land Rover | 1 year working on all aspects of the design including drawings, visualisations, animations, BIM efficiency and bridge design.
-
Blue Light Emergency Services Facility in Milton Keynes (one of the first tri-service facilities in the UK) | worked on fire plans and washdown areas.
-
Secondary School in the Forest of Dean | led stages 0-2 planning and design.
-
I independently developed dynamo scripts for the team varying from mapping topography to automatic drawings organisation to generating to regulation floorplans.
